Mole Bonk

Nine holes, thirty seconds and a lot of nosy moles. Tap each mole before it ducks back down. Golden moles are worth three points, but missing the holes costs you a point.

Mole Bonk

Tap the moles as they pop up. Golden moles score 3 points. Tapping an empty hole costs 1.

How to play Mole Bonk

Press Start and moles begin popping out of the nine holes. Tap or click a mole while it is up to bonk it for one point. Golden moles appear about one time in eight and are worth three points. If you tap a hole with no mole in it, you lose a point, so accuracy matters as much as speed.

Each round lasts 30 seconds. As time runs out, moles appear more often and hide sooner.

Tips

  • Keep your eyes in the centre. You will notice movement in all nine holes faster than if you chase each mole.
  • Do not tap ahead. Guessing where the next mole appears costs points.
  • Prioritise gold. One golden mole equals three ordinary ones.

About this game

Whack-a-mole began as a fairground arcade cabinet in the 1970s. Mole Bonk brings the idea to the browser with large touch targets so it works well on phones and tablets. It is a simple way to practise reaction time.
